Zoë, 19, is studying on the Music ‘Joint Course’ at the Royal Northern College of Music and Manchester University. She is studying Trumpet under the tutelage of John Miller and was previously taught by Julie Ryan.

Zoë has a background of orchestral playing on the trumpet, and was in the National Youth Orchestra, which included performances under Marin Alsop, Sir Mark Elder and at the BBC Proms. She is currently the principal trumpet for Symphonova and has appeared at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club supporting Bobby Shew. Solo performances include Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto with Watford Youth Sinfonia in 2015, and the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto with her school orchestra. Zoë has played with several brass chamber ensembles and is also a member of the Haydn Brass Quartet. She is also experienced in  performing with chamber groups on the piano.

Other musical experience includes working as the founder and director of the Wyatt Sinfonia, whom she has led through works including Handel’s Messiah, the UK premiere of Pejačević’s Symphony in F# minor and Tchaikovsky Symphony no. 6. Recently appointed as one of the Manchester University Student Conductors, she looks forward to working with the various music society ensembles in 2019-2020. She also enjoyed musically directed the university’s production of Spring Awakening. As a singer she is a member of the Rodolfus Choir and RNCM Chamber Choir and performed with the BBC Proms Youth Choir in July.
